Beautiful and amazing! Any idea how he’s getting the kalimba to wobble like that?
Yeah i wondered the same – its almost like a manual tremelo… could it be hes bending the bridge, like the whammy bar on a guitar?
Ah no, watch his fingers – he plays the note then he kind of hits a bunch of tines & bends them while the note is sustaining… you can see it at 0.21

Doesn’t work on my kalimba here though, damn.
Watch again! You add tremolo to the kalimba by waggling your thumb up and down over the sound hole whilst a note is playing
