A couple of months ago, I accompanied my girlfriend to the reknowned luthier Jakob Motter in Berlin Neukölln to get her cello repared. He showed us his last double bass creation, “Die Französische Landlady”. Fascinated by its gorgeous design, I proposed Jakob to create a video, with mapped animation underlining the instrument’s silouhette.
Bass Design – Jakob Motter

> Finding good projects on Kickstarter is often best achieved via word of mouth, so heres a couple that appealed to me: help fund a music video for John Tejeda new album, invest in ukiyo-e prints based on classic video games
> need some good tunes for the weekend? try Insight 48 or new album by Butch Cassidy Sound System or a mix by them for Paris DJs or FACT mix 341: The Orb & Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry (also just discovered Lee Perry is playing in Tokyo when I’m in Japan!)
