I'm not sure which is the saddest aspect of Avatar - that so much money was spent on it, or that it will age faster than a crack addict! Imagine how many great films could have been made in its absence, on the scale of Hurt Locker... in fact no need to imagine: Avatar $237,000,000 / Hurt Locker $11,000,000 = 21.54 I totally agree on both counts!
