> I experienced this installation at a gallery in Kanazawa, Japan but I wasn’t allowed to take any photos – it was a magic experience; totally overwhelming but peaceful at the same time…. Imagine the room you are in is filled with a thousand threads suspended from the ceiling; you enter the room and instantly your field of vision is filled, there is no visual or sonic depth of field…

> Next HISSandaROAR library? Well, you know about THE DOORS project, but I’ve been auditioning some unique vocal talent for the next library… And now you know why I recently bought a boom – god forbid getting bit by such a beauty! So by this weekend, the film I’ve been working on for the last 3 months will have been mixed, double head screened, fixes implemented, print mastered and M&E mix completed, so I’m off for a weekend away to Ngawi, which just happens to be one of the largest homes to my vocal contributers for the next library:

Last time I was there I did a bunch of recording & totally freaked myself out any number of times, primarily due to having my headphones turned up a bit loud and while walking around recording would almost have a panic attack when one of them raised its voice & based on my hearing it was like I was about a foot away from one…

Sadly, one can’t upload and edit Max/MSP patches on the iPhone. The closest to this is RJDJ. C74 is an app to interface between Max and the phone… It’s still awesome though, as it simplifies the process of getting information from the device into Max.
ps: looking forward to hearing your new library!
