    the PressPausePlay trailer reminds me of an interview with the founder of a-musik (a label and record store in cologne, germany), seen in the documentary “we built this city” (a movie about electronic music in cologne).
    in that interview he said something like “nowadays there are so many people playing around with ableton live on their laptops, producing electronic music on their own. but there have to be pure consumers also, people who do not produce. i’m a pure consumer.”
    although i regard myself as both, producer and consumer, i could not agree more – there must be pure consumers.

    Yes, I agree… it is good that the current tools make creations easier for all – but my concern is that too much stuff is produced, culture moves too fast and therefore has no lasting impact.
