Was going to congratulate you on discovering gamelan - did you know Javanese and Balinese gamelan groups exist here in Wgtn - taught by Javanese/Balinese teachers respectively.  see &lt;http://www.gamelan.org.nz&gt;www.gamelan.org.nz for javanese, &lt;http://www.garethfarr.com/GTJ.html&gt;www.garethfarr.com/GTJ.html for Balinese.  anyone who wants to try playing is welcome to come. we also have CDs for sale on the javanese site.</description>
