Anyone commenting here might have noticed I’ve been tweaking the comment system – we now have threaded comments, which will hopefully prove valuable when it comes to replying to specific comments in the Film Sound Study thingy about to start…. but also note you can now use Gravatars!
So WTF are Gravatars? well until yesterday I had no idea either, but its as simple as this: go here & register an account with your email address, upload your icon and from then on wheverer you post a comment here or anywhere that supports Gravtars then your icon will automatically follow you….

I’ll have a look at the plugin.
It’s a hobby I took up on retiring (non-recording job) I’ve just spent a LOT of money on two Schoeps CCM4′s and one CCM8 to move more towards orchestral, choir direct to stereo. With them I can do ORTF or M/S as desired. I still like to get outside with the frogs and birds though. The Sound Devices 702 is a really nice size for outdoor stuff.
