Max Richter Interview

I was first introduced to Max Richter’s music when I was working on 30 Days of Night & one of his compositions was used as temp score… & I have since bought all his albums.. this interview is a short excerpt from what looks to be a fascinating triple-DVD of interviews on ‘Contemporary Music Production’ – check the DVD out here

heres the trailer for the DVD:

I met Max Richter in Berlin this year and really found him an interesting character. He studied with Luciano Berio, played in The Future Sound Of London and wrote one of the most compelling film scores released in 2008 with WALTZ WITH BASHIR. He really has a way of making so much with the small ensembles he records with. His talent and style are very exciting.
This dvd looks amazing. Thanks, Tim!
