If ever I was going to have a modular synth nightmare (a la the Triffids) it would star this device emitting laser blasts with sync sound that could only be generated by a modular synth such as this….
It lives at the Twelth Root Studio (along with a Kyma system) and is loaded with Serge modules….
That’s about the only modular sexier than a Buchla 200e, IMHO…
I sincerely hope it has some sentience (& hydraulics/servos) built in, so if you ignore it for too long it starts re-orientating itself to follow you around the room
I will believe softsynths have truly arrived when they learn to have an attitude – all my hardware does! But some of them plugs are about as interesting personality-wise as a filing cabinet…
