What truly fascinating & evocative sounds came from the Radiophonic Workshop, and while Delia Derbyshire is a household name (amongst sound obsessives at least!) Daphne Oram is less so… The August issue of The Wire had a great article about her work but you really have to hear it to appreciate what she achieved….
