Plastic Bag

Plastic Bag by Ramin Bahraniis is one of the most beautiful short films I’ve seen in ages…. But if you read the by-line before seeing the film you would probably go “huh??” so trust me, just watch it! Its 18 minutes long, voiced by Werner Herzog with a beautiful score by Kjartan Sveinsson and a lovely, gentle soundtrack courtesy of:
Tom Efinger – sound supervisor & sound re-recording mixer
Abigail Savage – sound designer
Jeff Seelye – dialogue editor
Shaun Brennan – foley artist
Eric Gitelson – foley engineer

18 minutes? In this attention-deficit digital age? That’s a big ask. You better not be shitting us, Tim.

Beautiful indeed! Its amazing how good film can make the audience connect emotionally with something as lifeless as a plastic bag! Brilliant and so full of meaning and connotations regarding existentialism, ecology and even religion!
