The Art of Clean Dialogue

Creating an expletive free version of dialogue is a usual part of every film that we do – the dialogue editor cues all swear words and ADR is recorded for alternate words that best fit for sync (so the film can be screened for television and on planes once its had its theatrical run) but these examples (via MeFi) take the process into surreal territory! This is what happens when you fight a stranger in the alps? or feed a stoner scrambled eggs? Classic!

But the funniest approach I’ve ever seen was years ago on a TV show someone had synced seagull sqawks on every swear word! Hilarial!
