Dear Tim,
Hope you’re well… I’d like know where did you get them? Thanks in advance!
Best wishes,

Hey Mikel, they were for sale on a local marketplace site – the NZ equivalent of eBay. They are from a Geo company. They were cheap nz$7each and they still have 5 for sale but they wont ship them internationally. So for any locals, here is the link:

To help you, I did read on Lines forum that there are a few people selling models similar to the LOM one:

Dear Tim,
Thank you so much for your quick reply and info!
All the best,

Hi Tim,
How did these go? I’ve also been eyeing up these on TM for audio purposes and plan to experiment with a mix of modular gear, cheap voice recorders, my mixing desk. Will probably pick some up when I have the time to do something with them…

Hi – they are in my project box, waiting to be used! I have a LOM Geofon & use it for recording so really plan to use the ones I got from TM as part of a controller project – triggering sounds etc from their signal… Will post something when I get to them but that project is still months away…
I’ve bought some to give me something to play with. Hopefully on their way to me soon. Will see how they go straight into one of my old digital recorders.
Curious how the audio quality compares to the serious kit like the Geofon…
