▶ Very much related to that ad, New Zealand has an election in 2020 which will also involve a referendum on cannabis – medicinal and/or recreational… And plenty of lobbying for all sides has already started, but one of the (maybe) best attributes of social media is that when politicians and lobbyists spout nonsense or try to spread misinformation, they are called out for it… loudly and repeatedly. It will be interesting to see how it plays out here, and similarly for the US states, Canada etc where they are much further down the track, it will be very interesting to see what effect it has on arts, culture etc…
I really want to know what that sound is at the top.
We’ve had legal cannabis for a few months now here … I can’t see any difference day to day in Toronto…the same people who used to smoke smoke, the same people don’t, I don’t. I guess it’s good that the government makes the profit instead of the gangs or whatever. It’s suddenly a non-issue really, which I suppose it always was in a way.
The sooner it becomes a non-issue the better…
