The wee 1927 Chev has a WOF now, so it is legally allowed on the road! This morning I dropped off my Suzuki to get a service & WOF, so I took the Chev for a drive up the Coast to Paekakariki… It performed very well – I would have driven for an hour or two and it never missed a beat! Its funny the reaction it gets – almost every person who sees it instantly gets a big smile on their face!
Started off from Plimmerton…
Through Pukerua Bay & along coast…
To Paekakriki
I stopped to shoot photos in QEII Park and heard a siren slowly coming… Turned out it was a fire engine full of kids – its school holidays at the moment… But isn’t the scale funny – its a tiny car!
And back along the coast to Plimmerton
The bluetooth indicators worked perfectly… The only thing I’ll add is a stick on side mirror – it has a very small rear mirror but it has quite a large glass windbreak on the drivers side, and a small stick on mirror would be very useful for visibility etc..
Next sunny day I’ll do the same trip & take the drone with me… It was a bit grey & cloudy today…
Much thanks to Kevin at Garage Monkey in Plimmerton for all the work getting it a WOF. Highly recommended!
