How & what would you record here?
My first thought was contact mics & Geophone to the metal surfaces & see how resonant it is when struck…
Second was sending some ‘things’ down the slide, with mics placed along the path. Only caveat being (1) old humans break easily and (2) if dont catch whatever object goes down, it may be gone forever! For example I was thinking about sending a bowling ball down it, ie something with enough mass to generate some sound… but that mass will be going fast by the bottom and if didn’t catch it, it would be off down the hill causing all sorts of damage!!
I feel a recce is necessary!
